Brooklyn's Pet Care Stop for Every Companion

"Been coming here for a year plus for my fish tank and now for a kitten. I normally don’t care about attitudes but it was a double header today. Besides walking away jokingly when two staff members are asking two different questions to figure out the same sizing question. There’s a way better selection here than most of the gentrifying pet stores and prices are more than fair. Attitudes are normally chill and nobody has to be perfect, we’re human. But attitude and ridicule at a pet store after losing a loved one is pretty ridiculous. And ofc no one knows what you’re going through but that’s the point."

"Everything you might need is on this store. The employees are very charismatic and caring. You will find what you most likely are looking for. If they don’t have it they can get it for you. Very clean and organized, easy to recognize the sections and find whatever you need by yourself. Would come back! They have a big variety of fishes well maintained, they have birds and ginea pigs too."

"Staff is very rude dismissive and unprofessional. If you dont want to work, quit and get on welfare. Please hire customer service personnel that are courteous and pleasant. Me and my daugher who recently left church went to purchase pet food for a small turtle. A light skinned heavy set staff member rudely stated the item I requested was out of stock. However the very item I needed she held in her hand. All the while the young staff members in the rear of the store were extremely loud and using profanity as though they were in an alley or on the street. Please retrain your staff and teach them professionalism or you will lose alot of customers in the near future. Thank you for your consideration regarding this matter."

"Was pleasantly surprised to find a smaller store with well cared for live fish and such a variety. The guys who are there are incredibly knowledgeable and talking to someone else about nano fish and their excitement for setting up special tanks and set ups has made every trip there great and informative. It is such a breath of fresh air going somewhere where those working with the animals are genuinely passionate and care about the animals (aquatic and not) that they work with. Now I don’t have to go into Manhattan or (reluctantly) go to one of the larger big box stores when I am looking for something. Yjw fish I got are active and well cared for and I also got a great piece of wood for my aquarium there for a great price. Oh and they have the friendlier bettas in appropriate community tanks on occasion which is awesome to see considering how badly some stores treat these fish (and it makes it easier to know more about the temperament before purchasing. Especially if you would prefer not having just the solo fish in the tank)"
